3) Dominant Technological Advancement for U.S Department of Defense. "Air Force 2025 is a report on a pandikuti conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense which identified the technologies and practices that will need to be implemented by the year 2025, in order for the United States to remain the dominant air and space force in the 21st century. An element of that technology is Neural Interfaces. The implanted microscopic brain chip performs two functions. First, it links the individual to the IIC creating a seamless interface the user and the information resources. In essence, the chip relays the processed information from the IIC to the user, second the chip creates a computer generated mental visualization based upon the user’s request" ("Infowars,"2006).


1) Dangerous and Experimental. Neural Interfacing is extremely dangerous and highly experimental. It has only truly been spoken about in science fiction text.

2)Considered Unethnical. Many people resist neural interfacing as they consider it unethical and a harmful advancement to the human body.

3) Death and Permanent Brain Damage. It may lead to death or permanent brain damage as it is controlled by man induced electrical impulses that are suppose to meet our brain natural impulses to send signals to response.

The advancement opportunities within neural interfacing are endless, as this new development has proven to be successful with both human and animal brains. However, to date, neural signaling is still viewed as a “scientific experiment” to the brain and is still in its beginning phases of study and development. From what we know about neural research, which is still being researched even among the best in neuro science, to what we know about the brain, possible successful does not yet outweigh the factual failures of this procedure.
